From Staircase To Stage

In a world practically bursting at the seams with haughty disposable fashion companies flooding the market with runway knockoffs, should it really be that easy for all of us to overlook the magnitude of the ecological consequence, or are we too busy running to Zara feeding our vanity so we can spend an hour staring in our mirror before going out on Friday and hopefully come home with a drunken something to jump in bed with?

Could it be that we are actually stuck in a cycle of fear and consumption because the most of us are brushing self esteem issues under the carpet or is it simply that not enough people care.

Since 'fashion' is the main reason for such mass consumption, its refreshing and very important to see designers and others in positions of influence working to create a change. It's about using art, using fashion, using music and more importantly using your own voice to inspire change!
